Fun! Have you thought about using a wash to pick out the details? To finish my 1/72 models I water-down some black pant (just a drop of paint to a couple brush-fulls of water). I then brush it on just enough to fill in the cracks.
I've become quite excited about the Strelets Medieval Britain set. I'm a sucker for civilian poses. I already have a bunch of Iron Age and Medeival 28mm villagers. I only wish this 1/72 set wasn't so pricey. There are some cool poses in there!
