City Walls

Well the walls are now finished, but now looking at them I feel I still need to add a bit more. The original idea was to build enough so the city/town could occupy an edge or corner position.
Certainly in the picture below I can see that I need a couple of half sections of wall to enable a substantial town to be represented

A low level view of the walls

Still I have quite a bit of work to complete over the next couple of months to be ready for the big game and Gauntlet show, so more wall building will be deferred until late summer.

The city buildings and the wall look great. Yes, you could use a bit more, but the look is very good.

I'm a sucker for good scenery and these are great! Really good job - should get a lot of wargaming out of that lot!

Cheers,

Wow! The town looks splendid and it should be very useful for any number of periods as well.

Well Frundsberg have wharves as well? This could be a project without end...!

Jiminho, I've been rumbled, yes there will be wharves as I need to construct some for the SOTCW game at Gauntlet

Excellent production as always Will! Yes, a few more wall sections and possibly some damaged or breached wall sections, then some wharves, then an open market, and then....

You do see that it never ends My Friend? Still, that's at least half the fun.

Nice walls :) I need some better terrain myself and I really take inspiration from your work.
