Honeys a plenty

Ready for the desert here is the 4th/8th Hussars organised for Rapid Fire. As it was impossble to source the Matchbox version of the M3 Stuart at sensible prices I opted for these models from Combat Miniatures. They are quite basic, but fine as wargames models

For those who are interested in a comparison and/or close ups here is one with the Matchbox version.

They took some cleaning up and the track units seem oversize for the model.

Nice ... Regiment (Command decision) or Squadron? Just by the way, the Royal Scots Greys, the Armoured Regiment of the 4th Light Armoured Division that was attached to the II New Zealand Corps in late 1942 contained a heterogeneity of tanks: I organise it (for Command Decision) as HQ of 1 Grant; Squadron of 3 Shermans, Squadron of 3 Honeys and a squadron of 3 Crusaders. As the numbers varied all the time between 15 and 20 per squadron, you could add one tank to any or all of them.

Archduke Piccolo, they are for Rapid Fire as covered in the new book Monty's Desert Battles. Most of the other armoured regiments have a mix of tanks.

I am not familiar with the Rapid Fire rule set (though I have heard of it). I don't think it gets much play in this part of the world.
