All the units were involved at Yorktown in 1781 and replace the same regiments originally converted from Airfix AWI British Grenadiers, which have seen heavy service over the years.

New AWI French Infantry
The three replacement infantry regiments are now complete having just missed the month end. There is Saintonge (front left), Soissonais (front right) and combined Grenadiers (rear) with a flag for Agenois. All the figures are Revell SYW Austrians.

Off to Crisis
In a few minutes I will be off to Antwerp to attend the Crisis show on Saturday. I'll be with the Gentlemen Pensioners/Lance & Longbow Society as we join with the Alde Garde for the Battle of Arcen 1511. This is a what-if encounter from the Guelders Wars. If you get chance pop by and say hello.

- so loads more SYW/AWI French cavalry, artillery and commanders
- four regiments of Napoleonic Polish Infantry, plus some gunners
- Napoleonic Russian Guard Artillery
- WW2 French 75mm guns and crews

Early WW2 - German vehicles
A nice collection of vehicles from First to Fight to add to my Early War Germans. At the rear variants on the sdkfz 251 Ausf A L to R 251/6; 251/4; 251/1 Front row a pair of kfz70 Krupp Boxer trucks then an sdkfz 247, sdkfz 221 and sdkfz 223.

Generally nice kits, but the assembly instructions are not clear and it is worth checking with pictures of the vehicles to make sure where all the pieces fit.

just need to add some crewmen/passengers

WW1 Dismounted camel corps
I decided to only paint the same number of dismounted figures as I already had mounted. This should provide me with enough dismounted figures for when I get around to adding some horse mounted troops to the force. To the right are the Australians and the left the British.

In the middle is the machine gun from the Australian set along with an odd pack camel I acquired from the Early War Miniatures rummage box.
