A few pictures from Attack

Attack is always a good local show with a good cross section of traders, which always makes it well worth visiting when I am in the area to visit family. It also is useful to meet up with old friends and catch up on the gaming scene in the South West.

Only a few games caught my eye.

Phalanx 2025

Myself and a contingent from the Beacon club put on Nantwich 1644 at Phalanx, as other members who had planned to produce a game were running behind schedule. Still is was a great game using a modified big battle version of Pikeman's Lament. These are pictures of the pre-battle setup as once action was started I spent most of my time organising the action rather than taking pictures. Nevertheless the battle turned out a narrow Parliment victory.

Vapnartak 2026

I visited Vapa as a punter for once not as a demonstrator as I was in transit. I usually enjoy the show, but I was underwhelmed. There were very few demonstration or participation games unlike the past so very little inspiration was on offer. It was also the first show I have been to where I have left with zero purchases, nobody stocked Vallejo or the Javis scatter I use (there are usually 2-3). So a brief set of pictures of the games

Other Partisan 2025

A weekend away for Other Partisan starting on a Saturday drive to a Premier Inn then an afternoon and evening spent gaming then off to Other Partisan in the morning. As usual lots of interesting games to see and people to meet. Here is a dump of the pictures I took.
