WW2 Chinese Summer Infantry
Somehow I missed these off my Workbench list. I "inherited" a few WW2 Chinese a few years back and always thought that it might make an interesting opponent for the Japanese. So when I found another pack of the Orion Chinese Army I got to work.
I painted them in a summer uniform, but afterwards realised that I could have mixed in more Germans in Stalhelms to add some variety. Some of the Chinese are repurposed Japanese.
Winter lights was not so good today but at least there was some. I'll need to add some supports so I'll be looking at German WW1 gun crews plus interwar weapons like a Pak36.

Napoleonic Duchy of Warsaw Lancers
At last after a weeek of being completed here are pictures of my Duchy of Warsaw Lancers. Having based them on the Perry's I will call them the 2nd (front) and 6th (rear) Lancers.
They are based on 3D resin file from Kozak, my biggest issue is the lack of variety in the horses even reversed poses would have helped. The other is the bends in the lances even after straightening, when I reprint some I will make the lances thicker to avoid this.

Back to the Wild West - US Cavalry
A temptation at an earlier Wirral Warboot meant that I "invested" in some 28mm US Cavalry figures, It was cheaper than buying the STL files from "3D Breed" and then printing them.
A slight distraction - 6mm to 15mm Conifer Trees
Another distraction or rather the completion of an existing one as I picked up a pile of remaindered Xmas tres from "The Works" at half price. I decided I didn't need snowy trees so put them to one side. Forward to now and they were in the way so I painted them green to hide the white (almost) and based them up. They look good enough for most 6mm (1/300) gamse and at a push 15mm (1/100).
