South East Asia Jungle Huts

Hurrah, it seems a long time since I started painting these jungle huts, but at last they are finished and I'll be using them for my WW2 and Vietnam games. They are all 3D printed and the basis was a set of excellent files provided for free on Thingiverse by Rubicon (link). All I needed to do was scale them for 1/72.

WSS Walloon Cavalry

Although my intention was to paint more French cavalry for the War of Spanish Succession, I decided that as quite a number of Spanish Netherlands (Walloon) units fought mixed in with the French I should add these in to the mix. So here are three Walloon units painted from Strelets British Cavalry. There is very little detail on the exact uniforms apart from them wearing the standard white/grey coats with red lining (cuffs)

Regiment Toulongeon, I was lucky as someone had painted this unit, so I based my unit on theirs see Alys Toy Soldiers (link)

Thanks to everyone who commented on my post or contacted me independantly. When you are feeling low there is nothing like the ecouragement of friends to help you to get active/motivated again. I feel almost back to normal, although I still have more tests and a cardiac rehab program to complete.

At last the SYW British Infantry are complete!

After a too long absence I have slowly recovered my health and painting mojo. Here are the the last two Seven Years War British Infantry regiments the 23rd and 51st Foot accompanied by the other two earlier painted regiments.

23rd Foot (although the facings are correct I didn't have enough mitres so the unit is mainly in tricornes)

I am also back to gaming again which cetainly raises the spirits!

It's been very quiet here!!

It's still not completely obvious to me what happened, but I got food poisoning at Attack, this then resulted in diarrhorea and vomiting. This started me feeling dizzy and then I was in hospital due to a total loss of sodium. It took 10 days in hospital and I'm now home and on the mend. I've still got a number of tests and observations still o go through. Hopefully I'll be back to normal next week if all goes well.
