First of my aircraft now done, a Soviet LA-7 as operated by Ivan N. Kozhedub, 176th GFAR. I've gone for the two-colour grey upper surfacebecause it seems a better fit to the evidence, but also so I could use it for winter games. The model is by Hobbyboss.
In the above picture the stand has been removed.
While writing this I also realised that I need to create some aircraft bases for use on snowy terrain (white cloth)

I use clear acrylic bases so my ground cloth shows through no matter what terrain I use. I can cut some for you with my laser to your specifications if you like. Contact me by email if you want some made.
Great model. Clear bases are the way to go.
Very nice. And I agree with the guys - clear bases definietely the way to go - a lot less hassle than having to change base each time to match the cloth
Nice model, superbly painted!
