  • The dominant theme for the year was ancients, really dominated by the upgrading of my Ancient British/Gallic/German forces.
  • Nearly as big is medieval, where I concentrated on minimising the stash by working on the Crusades, Hundred Years War and Wars of the Roses
  • Terrain, comes in a surprising third place, due my diversion into winter terrain.
  • WW2 was a lonely fourth. I worked on my partisans and winter Russians & Romanians plus a smattering of other odd items.
  • WW1 was mainly Germans for East Africa, I probably ought to think about upgrading their opponents.
  • I mainly painted Indians for the AWI/SYW long with Rogers Rangers

Infantry as usual is top, spread across all eras. Rebasing sounds an easy task, but at times it's quite an effort as figures have to be repaired/touched up. I know I'll need to do more in 2017 and beyond as I upgrade my armies.
