AWI rebasing New York brigade

I'm all behind at the moment, I finished rebasing these at the end of March. They New York brigade is my original rebels painted way back in the 70s for a Saratoga campaign. The four regiments were originally either standing or kneeling firing so I had to swap some of the figures around and also repaint them as all the coats, etc. are different.

Accompanying them is a single unit of Lafayette's Light Infantry

Brings back a few memories Will. I had 2 Brit battalions - all of use used Airfix figures IRRC. Campaign didn't last too long either - so most of the unit we built didn't get that much use. Still have mine in an old cigar box, so in fair condition for their age....

Hi Steve, A different experience for mine and they became the basis of a whole army that got played a lot. Generally my figures from that era haven't suffered from brittle fracture, so yes their condition was quite reasonable for their age and use.
