WSS - now the British

Completed my first British units for the War of Spanish Sucession, there does seem to be a lot of contradictory views about the exact uniforms, flags, etc. so it does allow a degree of flexibility in how to depict the units.
At the front Webb's or the Queen's regiment, behind is Marlborough's or the 1st Guards regiment

I love those figures. If I wasn't so heavily attached to my Airifx chappies I'd be investing a lot more in them.

Excellent redcoats. And which flags are these if not homemade?

Norber, the flags are from Warflag, they are not the best but I'll continue with them until I find better

Looking very good! :-) I did make a start on some WSS British flags and posted them on my blog ages ago but there seemed little interest so I didn't pursue it. I did do a page of British late 17th/early 18th century infantry flags some years ago for a friend and if you'd like them I can email them to you. Let me have an email address via the contact form on my blog (or put one disguised in your reply here if you wish) and I'll send it to you. :-)

Cheers,

David

Hi David, I have followed your NBA blog with interest over many years. Yes your offer of WSS British flags would be of great use as most of the Warflag versions I am using need some improvement. I can be contacted via Fire-at-Will-live.co.uk Just replace the final - with an at sign

Have now replied via email and sent you both sheets (yes, I had forgotten I did two and not just one sheet of British late 17th/early 18th century infantry flags!). Hope you find a use for them and, if so, look forward to seeing some in action with your troops... :-)

All the best,

David.
